O2 sensors generally are replaced between 75k-100k. Modern ones do last longer, so 100k is very doable. But I would not want to push them past 120k. Walker Brand upstream are re-packaged Denso for a lot less. Downstream do not have to be replaced until they go bad, they dont affect fuel economy. They just monitor the cats to make sure they are working.
How many miles on the O2 sensors? Mine started complaining at 145,000 miles. They are pricey, but replacing them made a big improvement in engine power (probably MPG too).
Apparently at 155,000 miles they are starting to misbehave, so will be replacing the upstream ones, hopefully the catalytic converters are still OK... I don't seem to have any mpg or performance problems, but then again I've never owned a working Land Rover LR3 until now...
Spring is here and the warm weather is getting closer so decided it was time to get my windows tinted, crap photo as it was too bright.
Got them to go 15% darker on rear and tailgate to help keep the beer fridge cold
Didn’t do anything today other than look at it parked in the driveway. Hopefully I’ll have time to change the oil and diff fluid this week before I fly out of town for a couple weeks.
Sort of made a start on a storage system for the rear using a slide i made for my old D1 , i found out that the tie down points are at different heights front to rear which kept throwing my measurements out.
More progress next weekend i hope - its only been 2 years in the planning stage.
