I will keep you informed.

Some models of the Traxide unit have the linking feature for self jumping but i was a tight **** and got the basic unit which works for me, worst case i just undo the cables and bypass the controller for jumping.

Or just jumper cables from one battery to the other!

So today was interesting. I have never removed a body harness from an LR3 before. I hoped for more connectors but there were far, far less than expected. First it is a wrecked vehicle, so the interior was pretty much gutted. This would have had to be done anyway. Second the owner is transferring the prestige dash from the wreck to the new truck. So he had pretty much gutted the dash and removed the cover, this is also required. But we managed to get it all out. Some of the wiring logic seems odd, for example they run a large bundle from the junction box back around the rear of the front seats just to go forward again then up the A pillar to the roof. Yet the driver door winds through the dash. It would have been easier to run the roof stuff straight up the passenger side a-pillar, would have cut 12 feet off the run. And that driver door harness, you pretty much can not route it around the dash for removal with the top dash on. So I was very glad we had it off.

So now we just need a few days to transfer the harness and get the rest of the interior moved over. The new truck's interior was alpaca beige and trashed beyond belief. The wreck was a flawless black interior, so he wants it all moved over, carpet and all.

I ordered the ground cable.

We will see if it makes a difference.

Replaced front and rear wiper blades and installed the Proud Rhino Power panel to replace the ashtray and 2 12v. adapters.

Replaced my coolant overflow tank. Pretty easy job minus siphoning out all the fluid from the old tank

Heads up, Amazon has Royal Purple fluids cheap right now. Got a 3 pack of Max Gear for $45, it's usually 20 a bottle in stores

I’m looking for a plastic stone guard for the round driving lights. Don’t seem to sell them separately anymore. Any suggestions?

Default Fixed some electrical gremlins

I was having random, but increasing, transmission faults, suspension faults, lost communication with vehicle etc. I checked the battery with the car not running and it was 12.2. When the LR3 was running it would slowly drop to 11.5. I changed out the alternator 4 days ago and not one issue since. The battery now reads 12.9 not running and 14.4 running. Yes!!!

Rebuilt my Hitachi compressor today with a kit from 4x4AirSeals over in the U.K. Great kit. I almost switched out to coils. I think I’ll hold off for a while at least. Next on the list, new control arms in the front.
