Replaced my in bumper fog lights since one had died. Old lights were some cheap Amazon specials. New lights are by Rugged Ridge. Seem like pretty nice units, definitely throw some light out front.
Old light
New light in
Lights on and wired.
Fogs only
Headlights and fogs
Headlights Warn Hid and fogs

installed flat black
My OEM grey rear badges over time deteriorated so I replaced them with shiny chrome purchased on eBay. The shiny chrome lasted maybe two years so I again replaced them with shiny chrome and got about the same life before they started to look dull.
As such, this spring, I replaced the rear with dull black sourced from eBay again. Six months later, they still look OK - (well I would hope so).
Most interesting is that they are more readable against my silver grey paint than the chrome ones were. The chrome reflected the dull black bumper cover and hence sort of got lost. The dull black really stands out. I guess that is for the better.
Re the front, my shiny chrome Land Rover bonnet badge that replaced the OEM grey still looks acceptable; I replaced it about five years ago and again, sourced on eBay.
I guess when I decide to change out the chrome, I will go with the flat black. I just think it may age better than any shiny finish.
