Default On the Sand

Went to Assateague island for family vacation a couple weeks ago. I will be honest and say i got stuck 😭 and hurt my ego a little. I think the reason's why are i didn't air down enough, my rear diff lock motor had failed before i bought it in May of this year, and high tide came up on the beech 4 hours priar where we were driving and i just started to sink so i learned some lessons. Ill be replacing the diff lock motor before winter

i was to flustered and trying to get unstuck and pulled out by my dad i didnt get any pictures of being sunk down to the frame

Got a few things done today. Installed a CB Antenna, a CB, and a Go Pro-ish mount on the front bar.

It hits the front of the truck facing the other way. I'll hazard the $40 knock off go pro instead of the expensive bits.

That thing shoots much better video than I expected. I didn't think it would really do much of anything at night

Upgraded my hidden winch from HF12k to Warn VR12. Was able to reuse the HF wireless controller. Will be plenty of opportunities this weekend on the KAT to use it.
