Needless to say, I now have 88 miles until no start. After reading through all the posts, I pulled the DEF injector and found it to be spotless, as was the inlet on the exhaust. Now I’m stumped. Any advice?

Certain there's DEF in it?

I had has these issues , the first time I had the system serviced by the dealer and ran only DEF from LR or Volkswagen. Everything worked well for 20k+ Miles
had to refill at a Gas station and used the DEF they build . by the next fuel tank I had the Def quality error pop up along with Driving restriction notice. Im sure th problem was that I let the DEF tank get low
and had crystallization . Regardless I stopped by an Autozone and bought Rislone Diesel DEF Treatment . Decided to pour in 8oz and hit the highway. The Def error was cleared after about an hr of highway driving on it own.

I go out of town often and leave my truck parked for months at a time, and when I do drive it , it is allot of city traffic in LA, until we hit the highway on some good adventures. But the truck sits often. So I have been doing research on Def stabilizers and Diesel additives. I was having Regen Issues also. I started adding Hotshots diesel additive, and noticed the Regeneration's happening more often and did not have to force anything anymore.

So far so good for the last 12K miles. The Diesel issues are common but people in the states dont have much experience. I was in Spain on a job last yr and spoke with a Driver we had that had a diesel Mercedes . He recommend diesel additives for city driving of Diesel cars. I noticed a huge difference, along with 2mpg improvement in millage . I was at 23-24MPG, now it's 25-26mpg for the last 6k miles.

just some food for thought.

I too run the Rislone Diesel DEF Treatment (1oz to 3gal of def)

I run every tank 4 oz EDT Every Day Diesel Treatment.

Must keep the CP4 High Pressure pump Lubed! (change the fuel filter every 16 thousand miles also. ((cheap insurance)) )

Did you possibly overfill the DEF fluid? I've had this exact issue this week when I accidentally overfilled, and now it is still saying I have DEF and no restart in 100mi

--update--
Come to find out the tank was not overfilled. There was just something in the line, perhaps an airlock that was preventing the fluid from flowing freely into the tank from the fill hole. So every time I tried to fill (maybe too quickly) it was appearing to overflow.

I simply dropped the middle metal plating (4 bolts) from below the DEF tank and drained the tank (using the built in drain hose) and only two liters came out so I knew it was not full.

Hi, not sure if anyone will see this, but I can’t seem to locate the exact hose to drain. My car matches the picture and I can see the fill hose, but I can’t locate the exact hose to pull down and drain. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I've been dumping in Blue DEF brand for years across 4 different platforms. No issues here.
