Was never able to figure it out. I took it to LR for the warranty replacement and they told me that although they had previously diagnosed it as faulty, they needed to do so again. So after trying again and finding no hard faults, they decided it was within spec and wouldn’t be repaired. They agreed it was slow.

So now I live with jt.
