I'm still on the fence about a roof rack. That would wind it up for me. We did hit the trails this weekend.

60K mile maintenance ..... Mobil 1 ESP 5w-30 now meets the LR Diesel spec. Also cleaned MAP sensor. I'm going to remove the DEF injector and clean it, over the holidays, I will post it.

I'm not sure what the oil spec is for a diesel D5 but when I looked up Mobil 1 ESP 5w-30 it did not have the spec for the gas D5.
In fact, gas D5 uses 0w-20 oil.
I'm sure you are aware of this but readers of this thread might have missed the fact that you are selecting oil for a diesel.

Also, gas D5 from 2017 to 2019 has a different spec than gas D5 from 2020 to 2022.

Mine is a Diesel.

Here is the Spec:

All V6 diesel vehicles and V8 diesel vehicles with a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF)
SAE 5W-30 engine oil meeting Jaguar Land Rover specification STJLR.03.5005 or WSS-M2C934-B. If unavailable, 5W-30 engine oil to ACEA C2 specification may be used.

Sorry I didn't mention it being a Diesel, I thought the comment about the DEF injector would be sufficient.
Won't happen in the future, I forget their are alot of Gas versions on this forum too.

(Also I edited the post)

I knew you had a diesel. Just wanted someone else from making a mistake.

DEF Injector cleaning. 2017 D5 TD6

Located Driver Side, just past 2cd factory skid plate.

Most of build up stuck to the other side.

The build up just dropped off.

I cleaned with a hand held steamer. Water/steam only.

Some notes:

My rig has 60K.
The screw that holds the clamp is rotated to the top.
I re installed rotated down in a easier position to re tighten.
TIP: During reassembly, position injector( it only go one way) squeeze clamp together, push the locking tab down, then reinstall the screw.

Feel free to shoot any questions my way.

Are Compmotive the only wheel option for 18" wheels? Aiming to put on a hardshell RTT so I'd like to run THULE/Rhino crossbars and avoid an entire rack, anyone running either?

Wheel options are also found here: https://www.tuffantusa.com/

Not sure about RTT.

Quick question for those that have installed an A-Bar on their D5: can it be installed without removing the front bumper?
I'd like to just get the A-Bar for now but if the bumper has to come off to install it, I might consider getting the winch and tray too.
Thanks!
