In 20 months of owning my 2019:
1. windshield leak, again a common problem due to some issue with the adhesive at the factory. Fixed.
2. about a week before the first anniversary I got a warning that seemed like the ABS system had gone out (errors on screen suggesting every high tech feature related to brakes was not available) but after I turned it off and back on the warning was gone. Dealer was doing annual maintenance the following week and said the software needed updating on some module or other and it hasn’t come back in the 8-9 months since.
3. the rear inner tailgate sometimes doesn’t even try to close when I close the outer tailgate. Seems like a bug, not sure. But happens infrequently so difficult to have it happen when the dealer is looking. Pushing the close button for the inner tailgate does work so who knows...

So not perfect but so far my confidence is sufficient that I will buy the vehicle out at the end of the lease.

We have still only had 2 problems. Ineptitude of service caused the ground stud recall to sit in their service dept for 4 mths total. Not the Disco's fault. Just the P2002 inconvenience code beyond that and [again] just cannot get the service dept to just change the DPF. That ain't the Disco's fault either.

If we eventually get P2002 actually fixed and no other significant problems between now and next March, I may well buy the residual on this if I can get decent pricing or a CPO deal?

Wife certainly likes it and I do too on the rare occasion she lets me have it . . .

actually Ford came out and said to use Rotella T6. It’s been my go to since 2014 and never let me down.

I’ll also add the reason I have a disco is because my 2017 GMC Sierra SLT was on its second transmission and third torque converter in 18k miles. I have the td6 and LOVE this thing. Most people with issues don’t know maintenance or in the case of a diesel how to drive it.

Default Good at 4yrs...

I got an HSE TD6 in May of 2017 when they came out. A couple of small issues when it was new - dealer didn't complete the pre-delivery process correctly, but it's been good since. I replaced the tires since I do some off-road driving and the rocks cut up the OE ones. I had a mildly lifted Jeep Wrangler and a mildly lifted Toyota 4-Runner before the Disco, and I've been able to do everything I ever did with ether of them. It's really a dream to drive off road - sand washes, river beds, off-camber rock -- takes it all in stride. I've got about 20,000 miles of towing a 4,000 lb trailer and I have to say its a great tow vehicle also. It definitely goes thru the DEF when towing though - I get about 500 miles per gallon of DEF when towing vs close to 1000 without the trailer.

I've got 52,000 miles on it and I'm still enjoying it. All dealer maintenance so far since I got a pre-paid maintenance deal. I plan to find an independent service shop next time since the pre-paid is out and dealers are expensive!
