Installed a 180F thermostat today, flushed the coolant w/ new stuff. Dropped my idle temp almost 20F.....quite impressive IMO.

Also helped a guy replace a coil pack on his mercury cougar on the side of the highway....+1 karma!

Junk yard score. Out of a 4.6 Rangie. Genuine Bosch LR 150Amp Alternator. Tests out good, the RR donor only had 95k on it. $30 bones, not too bad I think.

It's made by blue sea systems. A boat company. Ml-acr-7622 I believe. It's amazing. I researched options a ton and this is definitely the way to go. Other systems like the national Luna are terrible in comparison.

Installed a Safety Devices roof rack today. It fits like a glove!

Installed some lights on the front light bar. I couldn't use the stock holes because they are too far back so I'd have to cut up the grill and wouldn't have access to the winch clutch anyway. So I bought some 1/8" pipe clamps (half circle with 2 flat mounting holes) and put them under the bar. One hole bolts to the stock hole, then the other hole is used for the light so they sit out front.

These are Amazon specials, I think 30 bucks for the pair. They have cree's, and are very well built, so I can't really justify spending hundreds of dollars for name brand lights.

though I do plan to drop $700 for he front runner 40" roof rack led bar soon

Where did you get the batteries? I see that Blue Seas sells the add-a-battery kit. Where did you source the batteries my friend?

They are Odyssey Group 34's. From 4wheelparts, but shop around on prices...
