Ha! No, I'll have 4 jackstands, 4 cinder blocks with boards on top, and whatever else I can throw in there.
I hate being under a jacked up vehicle.

 

I’m in the process of installing my new oil pump gear set. I disassembled the oil pump pressure relief valve assembly for cleaning.

The shown parts below in picture one are the snap ring, cup with o-ring,spring and relief valve. Visible when the oil pump gears are removed. Got all that for sure.

Now, on the the other side of the timing cover, by the oil pressure switch, is another snap ring, cap with o-ring and spring. BUT no relief valve under the spring.

Am I missing something? Should there be oil pressure relief valve under both spring assemblies?

No I didn't remove it. There wasn't a way to peel it off.
I wanted to remove the green screen from the odometer like I did on the clock. It's not that easy since I have to desolder 20 solder connections on the odometer. I didn't want to bugger it up so I left it alone.

 

Got my Disco back together. No leaks and they truck runs much better. Now I need to do the front drive shaft. Anyone have a parts list for the u joints, and centering ball kit.

70 bucks all 4! Almost didnt see them was about to leave. They were sitting across the asile. Just the very ones ive been saving up for!!. Got 16 of the lug nuts for them too. And Heated seat switches just in time for winter. One cup holder.

 

Freed up the transfercase shifter cable, pin froze on TC end and was slightly bent. Took quite a bit of manipulation to get it straight again and moving freely. If l'd have removed the driveshaft...it probably would have gone better, but l can be stupid/stubborn/lazy about such things...lol.

But now it's like cutting butter...smooth.

That isn't a fun job. Mine was seized on the transfer case end and snapped on the lever end. Had to drill it out and fabricate a pin. Now, I have anti-seize on the pin and spray PB blaster on it at every oil change.

 

Yep, as I was lying under there...my mind kept saying..."go slow big dumby, cause if you break that clevest or cable...you're in for a small nigthmare". Yes, I'm going to start lubing it more often...sits an awful lot...being a trail-rig and all. Or...it just goes to show ya...it needs to get out trail riding more often.

Granted, the whole cable system seems under sized to me and why not give a person a longer clevest pin...one you can get vise grips on and spin to free up.
