2022 Defender orders taking place now

Dealer informed me this morning my 110 has been offloaded from the ship (assuming thermopylae) and is waiting for transport. ETA is 2 weeks. Unless there is a shortage of vehicle carriers, Baltimore to Boston should not take 2 weeks. We will see! No further tracking was provided but Sales Guide said they will inform me when it's on the transporter.

Land Rover Peabody. I think they set ETA of 2 weeks by default when offloaded from Ship. Customs, etc can take a week I think and then it's just a few days from port to Metro Boston. This could happen by Next Friday plus or minus I'd guess. Good luck!

Car sitting at LGB port since 7/17
If it makes anyone feel better, my car has been sitting at the Long Beach port since 7/17 (carrier TULANE and ordered in March) and delivery date keeps getting pushed every Friday by a week. It's been 'in market distribution' since 8/3. Dealer can't provide any other details other than 'it'll be here any day.' VIN search is clean. I am not sure what to do next short of showing up at the port and hunting down whoever. I am not sure who that whoever is either.

I have a $1000 deposit with my dealer for a 2022 Defender 90 X.
I am led to believe that my actual order will go in to Land Rover in September.
I used the LandRover.com website to create a build.
One of my questions from the build process pertains to the door treadplates.
I took a screen shot ( see below) of the build page that shows two different Illuminated Ebony TreadPlate options with significantly different pricing..... can anyone explain to me the difference between these two options and the reason for the price difference?

I had a call from UK dealer yesterday telling me there's good news and bad news my 90 XS Edition ordered April is still on scheduled to be built 1st October 2021. The Bad news is they want to build with the analogue dash due to the chip shortage. My question is to refuse the update or take the hit and put up with the change. I have no idea what information is displayed on the smaller screen and if i refuse do i then go to the back of the queue

Without a doubt @colingriff , I would keep the build and take the modified screen. What has been shown is that there are two analog dials (speed/tach) and between them the normal digital display. I set my digital to having those two anyway. It is a profound personal preference, but to me - it's not a deal breaker at this stage of the game. By the time Defenders are readily available again, sell yours and trade up. I, however, think it will be 12-18 mos before that happens - so why wait and stress over it.

Also, there is a thread specifically for this with a lot more information.
