Yep sure was. Not a huge deal really as I already activated everything I really wanted with the G3 and had mostly stopped keeping track of this thread. When I saw your activation of park assist I was thinking why not do it. Though it is not needed and I definitely won’t buy a G4 just for that. If GAP will still honor the exchange program then maybe but if not oh well.

 

It should be possible to set all the CCF yourself and have a local independent shop reset the DADC.

 

Interesting idea. I will wait and see what GAP says about honoring the upgrade. If that is not an option I will check with my independent shop that does my work already and see.

Guess I misread the GAP site. If I would have read closer I would have seen the exchange is up and running. 🤷‍♂️. Think I will just upgrade.

• Needed 2 resets to PIVI for the app to appear in PIVI and a full car shut-down to clear the "Emergency Brake Assist Unavailable" error.

At first I tried the semi auto setting in 786 and then the fully auto. No idea if that's what made a difference. Another poster tried the same thing to get it to work and was successful.
Then just rebooted PIVI a couple of times and a full shut down of the car. It works perfectly. I'm rather pleasantly surprised.

 

Unfortunately Gavin, you are the exception not the rule. Most of us won’t get the parking working until Patrick at gap can do a read / compare of our bcms to see what’s different because the ccf settings alone won’t enable it.
