GAP IID Tool Summary
Thanks a lot for the tip.
That worked perfectly.
Once changed as I learned with a lot of my GAP tool programing, that you do have to restart and or drive it couple miles and restart again to get the changes to fully take hold.
All good now.
Thanks again.

Got everything working on my end except park assist (think it just needed an overnight reboot). I am getting the park assist screen in the app selection screen, but it’s not (yet loading). Hoping I’m able to get similar success as others by waiting a day or two.
The ‘Demo’ screen
My actual current screen
I got my GAP IID tool last week and have been playing around with it a bit.
I have a Carpathian Edition (V8) in the North American Market. I have Pivi 4.1.5 installed. It came standard with many of the options out there, however I can still add a # of features with the tool.
Yesterday, I was playing around with 882 and 895 in the CCF files. I can’t recall who/where it was posted (see text below), however it enabled a ‘shortcuts’ screen that allows for TR (Terrain Response) settings via soft buttons.
It also made some changes to the ‘real estate’ on the left and right side of the screen. The right side now has a slider for Volume and the left side has TR Modes.
When Pivi first booted up, it showed some ‘demo’ screens of the new layout. It included some Climate options on the left side. Unfortunately, they have not shown up yet on the screen.
The only downside is that the left side used to be customizable with the apps that I could choose. It is now ‘fixed’.
My guess is that there are more changes in the future and things will change over time, however I found this exciting to play with. Has anyone else seen this yet? Thanks for all who have contributed to this thread. I find it very fun to explore/add/customize features.
FWIW, I am still not able to get Park Assist to work. Like others have posted, everything seems to sequence correctly, however the START button remains greyed out.
The post I saw
…882 to enable the side bars on the ends of the screen. This way you can quickly adjust the AC temp, fan, drive mode, seat temps, volume. You also need to enable a few setting that if I recall were grouped in the 895 and you can choose what short cuts you want displayed such as window defrost etc. Those are called soft buttons..

This worked for me. Can't recall where found it tho. It took a couple reboots and restarts to appear. Note that I also performed some activations that gave me 'side menu bars' and the 'shortcuts' screen. I'm not sure if the success of this activation depends on those.
I hope that it works out for you.

It isn't super noticeable in day to day driving, but roll your windows down, floor it and you'll notice how different it sounds and how quiet the engine is outside. Plus, the wind/ambient noises are louder than the fake engine noise.
Not sure but I think Ford started this trend augmented exhaust sound via the stereo speakers. They started doing that to combat all the complaints about their crappy engine note from their little turbo v6 trucks they just were not sounding as good as the V8s Ford was trying to get rid of.
Seems it is now pretty much common place.
I don’t know that it happens to v8 cars and trucks, but it is pretty common with 4 and 6 banger turbo cars and trucks.
