I asked this before, and we didn't have a solution... I did the "Remember Stop/start setting" (MultiCAN-566 MHLastUserMode = Enabled) approx a year ago and it had no impact on my started/stop as I have to push the button every time I start the vehicle (first world problems, I know).
Last week, I undid the programming change and left it like that for a day or two, reset PIVI a few times and over the weekend, I re-did the program change, reset PIVI a few times hoping it would take. It didn't.
I have a 2021 110 P400 and from what I can tell, the programming change doesn't work on the earlier P400's. I thought I would check to see if anyone found a workaround.
2021 P400 and mine doesn't work either. That was the main reason I bought the tool too 😂

I tried this method for my 2021 P400... no joy
From what I can find, the workarounds (including the GAP tool) haven't worked on the early year P400. I would love for someone to prove me wrong and find a solution!
Unfortunately, No. I've been meaning to back out the changes, restart the vehicle multiple times and then modify the settings again to see if that helps, I just haven't gotten around to it.
Just got my GAP tool and was looking to progam a new key. But despite updating the software and putting my rig into service mode via the LR app... I don't see any of the standard options under the main menu Service / Test.
Does anyone have experience with this issue and a solution? Here a screen shot of what I'm seeing.
