My current Defender is a 2025. I believe that the 2020 model had it as an option and not as standard.
I had a 2020 (totaled) which came with the ACC, a 2022 Carpathian Edition V8 (traded it on a 2025 Range Rover), and a 2023 Defender (totaled).

Hi guys,
I recently bought GAP G4 Tool to RREvoque 2020 (I belive Defender and Evoque have similar soft) and I'm trying to add some extras but without success. Basiclly I'm trying to add Dynamic-I and LastUserMode. All changes go to car memory but nothing works as expected. Changes in CCF config did't apply. LastUserMemory don't work, "helmet" in Dynamics-I didn't show up. I'm looking for any advice, please. And also I add some pic from app (1pic is showing changes what got back and 2 pic shows that non was applied).

Sometimes it takes a few ignition cycles for the changes to come up. Have you tried that?

Thanks for response What do you mean "few ignition cycles"?
I've only tried restart bottom panel in Touch Pro Duo in restore settings using top panel and also hard restart using volume button.

edit: new firmware as well

It took a few PIVI restarts and turning the car on and off once or twice to get mine to work.

Just forget about it and drive for a few days and see if it enables it.
In my case with 2023 P400, all the codings worked instantly except newer interface updates (TR/climate/volumes/etc. on left/right side bars).
I installed them and whatever I do, volume soft button never showed actual volume level (volume control worked but volume level # - 0-60 - only shows 0).
I coded back to original but retained these soft buttons then about a week later (I drive my Defender 2-3 times a week only), it suddenly changed back to original screen.

So it may takes a few days to adapt. If you coded all correctly, forget about it and just drive for a while. then it may adapt and show you as a surprise gift. =)

Engine ignition cycles. i.e. turning on the engine and driving around for a while. Activations don't necessarily activate immediately. You might need to drive it a few times before they show up.

I would suggest perhaps - after an update - shut down the car and double lock. This tends to shut down the many systems. And also wait maybe 15 minutes?
And failing that, yes ignore and keep driving for a week or so as some people experienced, things then kick in.

Vehicle Leveling Feature (When camping, this can allow you to get that RTT just right)

Works Just fine. Not an activation but is a feature of the GAP tool.

You'll need a GAP IIDtool V4 to do this
Can you tell me what the "Brake hold" is about? I think it is why I cannot simply choose to coast in N if I have not allowed it in some way but by accident during my test drives recently. I found it quite annoying that N wouldn't just roll off a slope but required actual D or R selection and throttle to move.

For the "leveling", this is very interesting as I am pretty good at getting leveled by way of the analogue method but a simple "level vehicle" choice on the GAP APP would be nice to have.

Auto brand hold should be in your PIVI system as an option. It enables to brake when your Defender is in full stop. So yes, if you're at complete stop and putting your gear at N, it'll enable auto brake hold. Quite convenience feature in street driving.

For auto leveling, I'm interested as well but not sure how to enable it. I would like to learn more from other members as well!
