And he calls me the Redneck! I have a buddy that straight line pulled a big *** oak tree over with an 8274. They dug around the roots with a skid steer and got the cable a good 40' up the tree and down she came.

Took a little road trip with the family in the disco and picked up an SD low rack and installed it. Also picked up a LR ladder and a set of limb risers. Then enjoyed exploring the area with the family.
No I have to get some nutserts and figure out how to install it.
And pick up some lights.

Did the bypass for the back seat windows... they kind of work, but I think now I am looking at bad switches.

Harbor Freight has the Rivnut tool for cheap. Works pretty well.

spent most of the afternoon washing waxing and vacuuming out the LR. Had a lot of help from my son's girfriend/ baby's mom. She declined the bikini picture on the hood even tho I said it was a requirement for driving a shiny Disco...

Default Replaced heater hoses. Again.

I replaced the in/out heater hoses for the second time in 3 years (and ~10K miles).

The first replacement of the original (then 14-year-old hoses) was done with aftermarket hoses, which recently began leeching coolant from the fibers in the hose ends. My guess was that this was a sign of impending doom (i.e. hoses could burst any day), so I bought the Genuine LR hoses and swapped them out this afternoon.

Next time I won't be so, er, "frugal."
