So what did you do to your Disco today?
1) Get a good set of D2 door seals from Junkyard
2) Rip out D1 seals.
3) Install D2 seals.
4) Enjoy less wind noise inside the cabin.
Made some brackets to mount my led lights. brackets bolt to existing studs located on the bottom of the bumper were the original fog light brackets bolted to. Turned out pretty well. I will post some pics on my build thread later.
Over the last two weeks: new airtex fuel pump, new Bosch brake pads, panhard bushings, passenger side complete swivel pin and bottom bearing rebuild. My death wobble above 55 mph is completely gone and she drives so smooth now. I did the panhard bushings first, but the new bushings had no effect on my death wobble. I found the Paddock Spares Youtube videos a great help on the swivel pin rebuild. Messy job but in the end very rewarding.
BTW, the Napa part number for the submersible hose for the fuel pump rebuild is H315.
I need to spend some time on my interior (seats, headliner), especially my front seats. I haven’t seen any seats close to reasonable in the junkyard over the past 4 years, and I was quoted a complete matching reupholster with leather at $800/seat. Yikes.
I’ve seen a few members here and at other boards link to these new leather seat covers on amazon:
Amazon.com: 1989-1998 Land Rover Discovery Genuine Leather Seats Cover Custom Made (Front)Lark: Automotive
but no actual reviews. Anyone?

$300 for covers to put on rather uncomfortable seats seems crazy. Especially when you can snag a decent pair of seats from a Beamer or Acura or whatever for less and they'd actually be nice to sit on.
