You are of course correct. And I'm not saying it is a completely rational decision. But there are some practical elements. I'm not sure I'd like the look of the truck as much and the seating position would be uncharacteristic of the truck (something in which I find a certain charm).

Maybe I'll look into D2 seats.

There are definitely more comfortable seats out there, but I never thought D1 seats were that bad. Used D2 seats (which I do like a lot) are still not cheap and they don't fit on D1 mounts. Anyway, IMHO, putting in mismatching seats would probably somehow disturb the spirit of my Rover -- no need for that. I think I'll order these covers and report back in a few weeks.

To keep with the title of the thread and not go off-topic, I tightened my steering box nut last night.

Cheers

Gabe

Motor mounts. Old one lost a bit of its resiliency.

Ordered the oem replacements before I knew about the Jag mounts. They have been riding around in the back for over six months.

Since I broke the housing in one of my 500ff's....again, I figured I should replace it. But the led bulbs require more room than the halogens. So I got creative with my soldering iron and some additional plastic thanks to a spray paint cap

That's pretty much what I did when I first installed the LEDs. But I don't have a heat gun. Used a torch instead and pushed a shift **** into it. But when I did this one I got it a little too hot and it went right through. So I got creative
