True, these trucks are always going to have issues. But there are definitely things that you can do to change things for the better. There aren't any magic fixes, but when you use quality parts you're bettering your odds. Quality doesn't always mean most expensive. A quality 8mm silicone wire is going to make a difference, and will usually last much longer.

I see your point, but I still wouldn't put, as an example, Chinese-made U-joints in my propshaft.

You won't be disappointed, besides they are just wires and you probably wouldn't notice a differenct if you installed the cheapest vs. the most expensive wires. I always try to buy the best at the lowest price. Does the best really make a difference, most likely not, but piece of mind does weigh in on it a lot.

Default Magnecor 7mm vs Magnecor 8mm?

Much difference between the two?

From the standpoint of holding it in your hand, nope, both will get your attention. The thicker insulation will last longer in the hot engine compartment. The silicone based cables last longer before cracking.

The OEM wires have a centering ring inside the plug end I think. This prevents the wire attaching to the ignition coil incorrectly and breaking. Magnecors do not have these.

I used Eurospare wires that use factory ends and Denso spark plugs.
