Default Front Driveshaft Check

So I just climbed under my new to me '03 DiscoII. Front drive shaft has grease zerks on front end going into diff. I got all excited. Then I moved around to check back end of shaft. Looks like other end, going into tranny does not have any grease points.

Is this the common problem. So I just need to rebuild that end going into the tranny?

Am I right here?

No, you should rebuild it completely.

Either end makes a formidable weapon thrashing about at hundreds of rpm. If you have the spud shown on the transfer case, or installed CDL, you can engage CDL and drive on the back shaft while you rework the front.
