I'd recommend removing the intake and save yourself the headache

Threw in the blue 8mm magnacores tonight. Didn't remove the intake and even with big paws was able to do it. 3 hours and not as bad as I thought it would be. Took my time. Took her for a shake down run and all is good. Some major pep back in her step! No codes, runs and idles smooth and sounds good. Thanks for the advice. Looking forward to seeing how the plugs and wires will impact fuel economy. I was averaging 14.5-15.5 before....I will report back with any good changes.

Funny enough yes. I spent a good 1/2 hour going through the toolbox sizing things up. I used the below 3 tools, but by far the best was the one in the middle. Not something that could be bought, but something that could be replicated. It is a bracket for a large mirror lol. The key is that it is wide, and although hard to see in the picture it has a nice curve in the far end of it where it bumps out and curves back in. Was able to cradled the end of the wire with it to push them on and in place, then set with my hand, then use the very end of it after the curve for a final push to make sure it had set. Also, for popping them off it was perfect. I will have to take a better picture of the end of it.
