I always bleed it on a steep hill. Idle Temps have gradually gotten worse the last few months. I think the thermostat might be on the way out.

Pentosin sf. It's the same as vw/Audi g12. 50/50 with distilled water.

I would start by changing your stat. Park it on a steep hill, running, heat on all the way, and open the bleed hole on the plastic T.

My fiat had this same problem, the tech line told me the front must be elevated if I didn't have the proper tools.

 

Update...replaced the oem 180 thermostat with a warranty part from Lucky8. Did a quick bleed by raising the reservoir and taking out the bleed screw. Let coolant flow freely out the bleed hole for a few seconds. Topped it off and idled with the heat on. On to the test drive.....temps have dropped 6-10 degrees across the board! Lower radiator hose below thermostat is now getting warm. Apparently the oem 180 stat was not opening all the way. I'll check the bleeding over the next week and report back. Looks like the oem 180 failed in less than 6 months. A big thanks to Lucky8 for their custom service!

 

Next time you bleed, park upwards on a steep hill. Heat on high.
