replaced the tensioner pulley, took all of 5 minutes. tried last week and it took an hour of messing around, i suppose learning the system. I put the dayco, 89054 on, the one that is slightly smaller than the one that was on it.

Now, I need to find the 70 and 80 mm idler pulleys, does anyone have the dayco part number? Its not the 89006.

Replace rear air bags with a used set of coils I picked up for cheap. I replace leaking set of air bags two years ago and in the last year have had each one pop decided I was done with it. Ride seems about the same to me so glad I don't have that to worry about anymore. Just need to get the light turned off (or remove bulb)

Picked up some paint and started to sand the fender flares. I did the shoe polish thing for a few years but mine are so rough that sanding them down and repainting seems like the best option to get them looking good.

Plastidipped my rims & wheel arches. This photo was take before the arches. The arches look better than they did, but the still are rough.

On the '99, I replaced a burnt out brake light and a blown fuse on the driver's seat. I think the recline motor may be going out on it. On the '04, I replaced a fuse on the passenger seat... it had blown too.

Acamoto, I like the way those wheels look when painted black... I have the same wheels and wondered what they would look like. I'll eventually do the same.

What was the process for the plastidip? You just took the rubber off and sprayed, or did you sandblast the rims first?

You don't even need to take the tires off, just spray the wheels and cover the tires.

So what's the track record for plastidip? does that stuff hold up pretty good on wheels?

Not that bad, I had my car done twice with good results. The key is prep!

ok, I was first thinking of sandblasting the wheels and then powdercoating. I have a sand blaster and a powdercoat rig and oven that one wheel at a time will fit into. But sounds like plastidip may be the way to go?
