Somewhat rover related...

Camping gear is coming together for rover-camping trip next weekend. Got everything covered for food in and out.

Everything made in the good old U.S. of A. (except silverware - germany). One thing great about antique shops...they still have US items in stock...lol.

Brian.

Nice setup Brian, I prefer old school / simple gear too. I just axed my percolator... not really a big fan of it, probably going to a french press.

Today I cleaned a bunch of transfer case parts. The rover helped out too, providing pressurized hot water

Rebuild is imminent

What goes up (bent up)...must come down (bent down).

Actually, when I saw you were installing them...l thought...he'll be sorry (especially, if he does any wheeling at all). But, when you have young kids (or grandparents)...there really isn't many options. Hope she straightens out for you.

Brian.

Default Lifted!

I did a 3" Ironman lift. 2" heavy duty coils with 1" spacer. Also put on 285/75/16 mud terrains. Looks awesome, rides awesome. Got it all off Craigslist for $600 - wheels, tires, coils, shocks, spacers.

Only took me and a friend 11 hours.

Next up, 3 out of 4 of my motor mounts are broken. Oh, and O2 sensor tomorrow, but no big deal there.

Good deal on the camshaft sensor. Hope it works ok. Or are you stocking up on spares?
