What did you do with your DII today?

i did something similar except I glued the radiant barrier (just foil type w/o bubbles) on to the topside of the headliner. I used an IR thermos and found about -3 degree drop internal temps. Measured at noon in my driveway on 90 degree days before and after...not as good as I was hoping.
Very curious to know how yours turns out.

Why did the deer try to cross the road?
Okay, it's suppose to be a chicken crossing the road...but it wouldn't have caused as much damage.
Front bumper held up fine (this is not an actual oicture of afterwards, but it still looks the same).
Should never have swerved, probably would have taken full impact with bumper. Once l turned away from the oncoming deer, just catching its head with the bumper, then he went down the side of the rover.
Luckily, l have the doors off my old 01. Truth be told though...me and this new rover are not off to a good start by any means.
Brian.

That sucks!! Kinda like my luck in my wife's LR3 2 weeks ago... My company fuel card was INOP and so was the company CC. I had a call come in for a customer I thought had a serious 911 type call that couldn't wait so I jumped into my wife's LR3, ran the call, and on the way home a lady cut me off, ran off onto the shoulder and tossed a rock onto my windshield... Since it was cold and I had the heat on the tiny chip turned into a crack completely across the windshield... 1800.00 OEM LR LR3 heated/auto sensing wiper down the drain all because of my company and their lazy 2019 oh the cards all expired BS.. So now I've got to either pay a 500.00 deductible or 536.00 out of pocket for a replacement.. Of coarse the crack goes right in front of your line of sight as well. For now I'm leaving it alone because knowing my luck I'll replace it and BOOM a week later be right back to a cracked on again.

I've been tinkering with the 02 Westminster and it's had this really really strange issue that creeps up after idling/running for 30-45min. At idle in Park it will almost completely stall, and then come back to life with just a P0440 fault. I didn't have a spare Purge Control Valve until I stopped by my local junk yard and grabbed what looked like a brand new assembly out of an 02 Range Rover for 8.00.
I installed it today, ran the 02 the same amount of time I've always ran it, and it never tried to stall & it never popped a P0440 fault code. I've never heard of a bad purge control valve causing an engine to nearly die, but it hasn't done it since I swapped it out.
Only other issue I noticed when running it at night is the lights flicker pretty good. Alternator output shows 13.5V to 14.2V so I think I've probably just got a dirty connection at the alternator. I have plenty of spare Valeo 120 Alternators so if I need to swap it that's no big deal.
Overall it's not even the same D2 anymore! It's come so far and the engine is truly good. To bad the frame is a rusty mess.
