Pulled the white one into the garage to start tearing it down for HG and cam job. Green one is waiting once this one is complete but it's not puking fluid all over the driveway so it gets to go second lol

Pulled out the stock upstream O2 sensors and replaced them with some new ones to get rid of my P0130 error code. Runs a lot smoother now that she's not on the super rich side, and the mileage should be much better.

It was not an easy job laying in the driveway in 14-degree weather and without any disassembly to make getting at the sensors a little easier, but I got it done. It's nice to have that piece of mind.

I hate the upstream driver O2 connector location....gives me fits every time I work on them.

whowa004 - It was definitely less fun than it would have been had I done it during the recent HG job when the manifolds and everything else were out of the way.

Default Go all in with the rebuild!

Bit the bullet and went for the Atlantic British 4.0 Long block for my '00 Discovery II. Everything with the truck works/runs great, EXCEPT for the coolant getting into the combustion chamber via #5 cylinder. Rebuilt 6 yrs ago, pinned sleeves, but the damage was done prior to rebuild when the "ticking" was pronounced. Truck is worth saving, again all is great, so here we go! Work is being done by Strohm Automotive in Indianapolis, IN. LONG time LR mechanic as well as other British cars. Wonderful work!

Will keep everyone posted as to the progress!

Drove an hour in Myrtle to March, Peterborough here in England to check on a good friend’s mother-in-law since they live the states.
When she answered the door, it took her a few minutes to focus on who I was after I pulled down my face mask. She screamed “MIKE! You DJ’d Korey and Tina’s wedding! When the hell did you get back to ole Blighty (England) mate?” Lol
Seemed like old times again when we quickly talked.
D@mn you Covid...

I'll be lifting about 3.5". The tires are 285/75r16s, about 33x11.50 in standard dimensions. That's my go to size for most trucks. I've got three vehicles currently running the same size cause it's very usable in a lot of different situations and they're easy to get ahold of.

Finally replaced front bumper and headlight on my wife's 03. Slipped in the ditch a few weeks ago, and the indestructible plastic bumper shattered like glass.

Lucked out and found a brand new bumper, complete, close to home for pennies. Had the headlight bucket and outer colored pieces from my old gray 03. Rattled canned the colored outer pieces silver, pretty good color match...if l don't say so myself. So, for $600.00...she's back on the road.

Looking at the picture...probably should change the drivers side headlight, too...lol.

Victoria was pouting some, when l left in the Dll for work this morning to make repairs.
