Make sure to replace any broken mounts while you're working in that area. These ones are fine: https://www.amazon.com/Dorman-911-90...dp/B00902FZDG/
Thanks

Put plates and insurance on the 04, since the 110 is in the garage with it's engine out for rebuild. Which reminds me...someone needs to get off their dead a** and start putting that back together...lol.

Funny, new plate was DEF 193...kind of a bummer to know l was 83 plates to late for DEF 110. May transfer this plate to the 110 anyway, if that is... "won't get off his dead a**" ...ever gets it running again.

The $50 one on ebay includes the mounting bolts. So far, has worked fine.

noticed my tires were starting to crack, so I ordered up a 2" lift RTE Lift with +2 OME shocks and got it installed. still can't figure out what tires I want to go with brand wise or AT vs MT. Leaning towards Toyo Open Country Mts, or BFG ATs. I wanted BFG KM3s, but they're sold out everywhere. going with 275/65/18 size.

I kept getting an intermittent P0420 code on my ultraguage under pending, so I installed some magnaflow cats and it's a huge improvement. The truck is a little louder now but there's a noticeable improvement in power and my exhaust no longer rattles. I think my old ones were definitely starting to get clogged. Genuine cats going for good money right now. I have offers between $1250 and $1500 for them from legal recyclers. I wish my truck always paid me to work on it like this. gonna take the savings and put it towards an LT230 with CDL.

also, rhino ramps make working underneath so much easier. I highly recommend them. I chock the wheels and use jack stands too, just in case. ya never know!

Curious how you did the cats - does someone sell the full y-pipe package shown in your photo, or did you have it custom made?

Default 4.6 crankshaft needed

Pulled a 2004 engine from the junkyard and swapped it into my 2002 Disco 2 after finding a slipped sleeve. The new block made a terrible sound when running…dropped the oil pan to find metal shavings. Turns out the bearings and crankshaft are shot in the junkyard block, and of course the yard gave no help.

if anyone has a 4.6 disco 2 crankshaft laying around, I am your buyer.

So you're saying that my zip-ties aren't optimal?
