Had to pull over and document the occasion. Half way through a little 650 mile jaunt.

The way gas prices are going...won't be long and it will cost him about the same to fill the tank...948 dollars.

Did the rear brakes on the 03, swapped out a couple enlarged lug nuts, test drive, stopped and filled it with fuel, ouch, and turned the radio on blaster volume. The HSE rocks compared to the SE.

Truth about the gas prices! I was 10 miles from the Idaho line when I took that pic…. Which is where I filled up with 91 octane non ethanol premium for only $3.83/gallon!!!

Changed my diff oil today. It was about 15,000 miles old. I wasn't sure what to expect. Low and behold, the oil was golden, almost like new. Very little metal on the drain plug magnets too. The metal that was present was super-fine, like it should be. I was pleased to see how clean those diffs are.

I also tightened my valve covers which have started to leak a little bit. I couldn't find a 12 point socket anywhere locally so I had to order one. The bolts didn't turn much at all. I'm hoping they turned enough to stop the minor leak.

Going on another 800 mile round trip to CO from AZ next week and the truck is ready. This will be the 5th trip to CO this summer. It's done great on every one so far.

Does the Tuff-Rok console sit on top of the factory rubber mat?
