From the mountains to the sea! Spent the weekend on the N Oregon coast and enjoyed some beach driving!

Default NJ Trails

The Pine Barrens have a few parks, nothing crazy, but better than nothing.

The Pine Barrens are great. I agree.

Also recommend getting up around New Hope, Pa and up into Delaware Water Gap. Great drives…

What is in that area? I go out there pretty frequently, but never saw anything for off road? Any suggestions are appreciated.
thanks

Default Beginning of sliders

Started to mount sliders I designed. Checked alignment of mounting holes with body.

Are you planning on attaching them to the frame? If you wheel often or plan to use them as sliders, mounting them to the body will bend the door sills. If it bends enough, you may not be able to open your door (ask me how I know). Luckily it bends back pretty easily.

Had not really thought about it. I think I've only seen one which attaches to the frame.

I probably have enough square tube to make it happen.

Every slider I've ever had has been mounted to the frame, not the body. Fwiw

You can't buy a frame mounted slider for a disco that I've ever seen. narrow frame rails make it hard to make them strong enough they still won't bend. I bent my frame mounted ones on my classic a few years back..
