Today I watched the 2nd video in the winch playlist intended for the curious or first time installer. The 1st video in the playlist showed an augmented reality test fit and the next one shows parts and tools. There will be information about the wiring routes, modifications to the bumper, winchline spooling and more as the series develops. It's an experimental style for using visual 3D graphics to show details.

Is there a battery reset for the LR3? I looked through the various Gap tool menus and couldn't find anything like that.

Good to know, thanks! I had a BMW 525 that I had replaced the battery and I didn't bother with the first one.
I did with the second one to replace the first one. The coding was pretty specific.

where are the door switches on a LR3? I don't see one in the usual place you'd expect, and I have to really slam the door to get the "drivers door open" indication to go away.

They are in the latch module, spray some WD40 or similar liberally into the catch.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. It can't be good to whang the door all the time.

Finally did the sunroof drains on the 2008 LR/Discovery 3. Made sure the drains were clear with compressed air. Drivers side was completely clogged, Passenger side was partially clogged. After completing ran it through a car wash twice and NO water inside.
Next week new tires, TPMS, 1.5" lift rods, and Oil change. I have had my LR3 from 42.000 mi. Now it has 254917 mi.

Worth doing the rear drains as well before the wet season starts.

It's a cool ladder. Beats digging out a stepstool or stepladder. Tell us more!
