The days of using windex are gone when it comes to vinyl wrap material. go to the local sign shop and ask for 3m 1080 material. its very movable with air egress in it to remove small bubbles during install. if you are buying the old regular vinyl used for box trucks and windows in the old days its the wrong material for the job on our cars. the 3m 1080 is the best on the market. and if you want a nice line order off ebay or geekwraps knifeless tape. it works awesome. on making your own lines and cutting the material without a blade near your paintjob or metal.

Default Vehicle graphics

OK guys here's what I did this week. to the rogerrover.

I added some graphics for my upcoming Overland Adventure across the USA.

here is the initial graphics stage one. Stage two will be doing the windows with the perforated vinyl for windows with graphics as well. I will do the three back windows in the window material.

My play on the Stonage humor of how the US is going BAckwards in time.

More to come.

Default roof tent.

Here is the tepui tent on the roof and in full working setup. it goes well with the color of the rogerrover.

here is the rear view of the tent with room attached. I can open the back door form a zippered wall in the back of the room to access the interior of the rogerrover.

passenger view sorry for the sunlight...

drivers side view of the tepui setup.

more to come...

Thanks. I like it so far - once you get past the install

Time to look for a winch! I'm thinking Superwinch or Smittybuilt. I personally can't justify the 2x + price of a Warn

Damn. tranny was leaking a touch at the drain plug. Put a wrench on it, and right away got that sinking feeling of a bolt turning too easily. Sure enough,

Moving 1000 miles in less than a week. Put an overnight order into AB, and a Irwin left hand spiral extractor set.

Jeff,
I think you fall in my category man. If you didn't have bad luck, you would have no luck at all. Glad you are able to get the stuff ordered though

Well,

Woke up this morning and I think my D2 puked all it's power steering fluid out (heard it groaning a bit last night as I pulled in)

Looks like I'll need more Pentosin and maybe to tighten that bleeder valve back down. I assume I didn't tighten it nearly enough (or maybe I fried the pump)

No pictures but I bypassed the throttle body heater with a simple 90* brass fitting. Over night lows have only been in the upper 50's and low 60's and within a few weeks will probably only get down to the upper 60's and low 70's at night. I'll probably hook it back up in the fall when it gets cold again.
