Looks aluminum for the aluminum line?

How did you vacume down the system to add the refrigerant?

Wow let me know if it lasts, supposed to pull x inches of vacuum then it draws in the coolant ( basicly) need to fix mine wife is crying

ordered a crap load of stuff this week to do a cooling system overhaul

- all-aluminum radiator
- hoses hoses hoses
- new to me white pressure bottle and cap
- glowshift water temp, trans temp, and oil pressure gauges
- glowshift oil filter thing

should be a fun next weekend.

If you don't have one get an ultragauge

Swapped out mfu now my hi low works again??? Wtf

MFU? Caught my attention because my CDL only goes into Hi and Neutral, won't go into Low or over to the left to lock...

i'd be rich if i had a dollar for everyone who keeps telling me to get an ultragauge or whatever scanner. my truck is OBD 1.

Right. I was saying I snagged a 5/16" high pressure COMPRESSION fitting for brake lines from my local Napa for about $8. I used it to cut out and repair a small hole in my van's power steering line. That $8 fitting probably saved me $700 in parts and labor as getting replacing that line looked to be a ridiculous job.
