Default Found and fixed a rainwater leak.

It should have been obvious to me, but it wasn’t, that the driver-side A-pillar cover was improperly installed and had been since I acquired the truck in 2012. As a consequence of that problem, and my oversight, rain hitting the windscreen at any speed would migrate through the gap in the cover, up the pillar, into the headliner, and, eventually, into my lap whenever I applied the brakes.

Purchased a new cover, complete with required installation clips, and solved the problem. The installation wasn’t quite as simple as the YouTube videos made it look, but after a couple of hours of work and lots of vocabulary exercise, I got it done.

No more suspicious wet spots on my pants.

I crawled under the car. Happy I did....

Today I pulled the front drive shaft out. Will take it to a shop to get reworked. (The local Land Rover mechanic quoted me $800 for a new shaft + labor. LA labor rate that

I soak mine all the time. But my keyless entry hasn’t worked in years anyway

@Steve517 Check the rubber corners top of the windshield, I have attached the TSB. That water will end up on the floor under the carpet, trust me I know.

As for my Disco into the shop today for the rear main seal, and hopefully nothing else
