I usually do the same, but opted to go for it myself this time. I would definitely recommend that course of action to anyone else.

Dropped the headliner today to do a number of different things. Not done yet, more to come.

First take on the RTE springs is positive, great quality and definitely more robust than the clapped out OME I pulled out. Waiting to see how everything settles and see if I'm still level, the cut front fenders make this really hard to actually prove...I will get the front relocation cones to retain the top down the road when I pick up RTE's adjustable shock towers.

Word of caution to anyone who buys the front spring retaining clips from Terrafirma DO NOT use the bolts provided....they are hex key pieces of crap. I had the head pop off of 3 of the 4 bolts....never have I had that happen to "new" hardware. So word to the wise supply your own hardware for the front, the rear kit came with the more standard hex head bolt and had zero issues there. Pretty bummed as I now will have to secure the spring base plate at least for the drive to moab and I'll have a garage in the rental so I'll pull the front wheels and replace all 4 of those bolts. Will have plenty of photos coming from next weekend but I'll snag a quick photo with my phone in the next day or two.

Crappy hardware..

Crappy pics but rears had settled over night and the front was finished right before the pic. Got the SAE diode dynamic fog lights roughed in and will mount them and wire them in the next day or two.

I'll be honest, I've got no idea. Some foam that came out of somewhere maybe? Sure as heck looks like something else , But it's definitely not. Weird....

Default Installed Rear Bumper

After nine months waiting for an OEM replacement, I found a rear bumper in mint condition at a local junk yard and installed it today along with backup sensors bought on Amazon. Wife loves it!

Major score at the junkyard today - Rock sliders for $15.99 ea.! Not new but much better than spending $500+ on a new set!

My daughter stuck her new Jeep 4x4 in the mud while off-roading today so I towed her out with my Disco on my old, no-tread tires.

My new mud tires won't arrive until Thursday. Would have felt more confident going deep in the mud to get her if I had new mud tires instead of the old, no-tread street tires, but it all worked out.
