What did you do with your DII today?

Throttle body heater started weeping and my temps were climbing a bit. Not sure if the TBH leaking or the coolant cap so I bypassed the heater today and ordered a cap which should arrive tomorrow. If not, guess I'll look into replacing the radiator or the viscous fan next. Or perhaps I'm being to sensitive to temp fluctuations? I was holding around 203F in traffic and 198F on the freeway but now I'm sitting at 203F freeway and 208F around town.
Jesus man get that thing converted fast before we have to hear another head gasket story.

Still slowly getting the green rover back together, hoping to fire it back up this weekend if my schedule allows..
On a more exciting note, I'm picking up a 1.4 t-case on Friday for the white one. Should seriously help the drivability as it will put me roughly at a 3.9 final gearing at the diffs. My stock t-case is starting to leak worse and pretty pumped to be able to not have any downtime while I seal up the 1.4 case and then just have to deal with swapping it in.

Luckily my A/C problem was an easy fix. She had "ECON" on. Doh!
This morning I drove with my wife to see how she drives Myrtle. Everything went well until 5 minutes into driving she stopped at a red light and the 3 bongs sounded. I now have 4-Amigos.

I know The Deputy is a seasoned mechanic, but for many others of you out there, be very careful adding refrigerant. Too much in the system can lock up the compressor and cause other problems, like the serp belt getting fried as it passes over the non-moving A/C pulley. Not that I ever did that ...
