I finished dabbing my rear bumper and got it mounted today, I still have some wiring and painting left to do I need to run a heavy gauge wire to the front for the winch and wire up the trailer plug still.

Found my vibration, rotoflex coupler is nearly in two pieces. And both engine mounts are ripped loose. Oops

My wife called me around noon yesterday, an hour from home, while I was at work. Rear brake caliper was locked up on the drivers side. She was on her way to see a couple of her friends about a half hour on down the road. I had her leave the key under the mat and her friend came on to pick her up. I left work and luckily had a spare caliper on the shelf. I got down the road about 15 minutes from where she left the Disco and realized.... I forgot to bring a jack.

I had two buddies local so I called them. One owned a jack, but it would barely lift his Miata. The other didn't even own a jack. Well shoot. I ran on down the road to see what I could figure out. I decided to try my luck at a nearby Ford dealership. I walked in and said "I've got an odd request." Explained the situation, offered my welder in on trade so I had something to bring it back. They were hesitant at first, but ended up just taking my license. I told them I'd have it back in an hour, had it back in 30 minutes. Truck fixed, and I was back on the road home.

I will say, the reminder of the ABS pump trick shown above made this super easy. I didn't have a switch, but 12v can't break the resistance of your skin (takes around 40v) so I just squeezed the ends of the wire together when I wanted the pump activated. I've never had such an easy time bleeding brakes on my own.

Default Back Up Camera installed

While installing new headliner i installed a back up camera - and the placement of the screen makes perfect sense for ME.

Default Fuel Feed Pipe and Connector

In the middle of a complete rebuild and noticed that my fuel feed has significant wear. I'm having trouble finding the OEM part for it. Any leads? Thanks all!

since St. Louis County and City put a thirty (30) day shelter in place order out, decided to get fuel stabilizer for all the Rovers and top off all the fuel tanks. with all the kids home the driveway is full. two (2) '04's, an '01, a '96 and the 2000 P38.

guess i'll have the time now to take care of a bunch of little maintenance things on all the trucks.

oh, yeah. and the house. should probably work on the house some.
