Replaced all of my sway-bar drop links this weekend with the extended versions from Lucky8. I had so much fun removing bolts that haven't been touched for 17 years

Default Front brakes. Windshield cowl, wipers.

The rotor guide screws were fused. I tried using a O'Reilly's impact driver, but it was trash. Ended up drilling them out
I spent hours trying to locate a #4 Phillips, btw.

Also installing the windshield cowl was way more frustrating than Doug appears to be on the Atlantic British how-to video

Not a Phillips, it's a Posidrive. Also used on the e-brake drum. The correct bit helps a lot for removal. You don't need to replace it though, it's only there to hold the rotors in place through the assembly line.

Finally got the 4.0 out of one of my donors. Gonna pressure test it, if it's good, I'll pull the 4.6 from my other donor for the lower end and rebuild.

It was about time to replace the motor mounts. Driver side had failed completely, passenger side developed cracks. It was pretty easy except for one stud that didn't come out but had to be cut off. Now I know where the stomping of the engine came from.

I'm doing mine in 2 weeks, will be great to get rid of the "stomping"

a stubby or flexy ratcheting 18mm wrench is extremely helpful on the driver side.

+ long 18mm socket and torx E12 socket for the studs.

Throttle body heater started weeping and my temps were climbing a bit. Not sure if the TBH leaking or the coolant cap so I bypassed the heater today and ordered a cap which should arrive tomorrow. If not, guess I'll look into replacing the radiator or the viscous fan next. Or perhaps I'm being to sensitive to temp fluctuations? I was holding around 203F in traffic and 198F on the freeway but now I'm sitting at 203F freeway and 208F around town.

Bypassing the TBH is good, but did the leak ever result in the coolant reservoir running dry? If you kept the coolant topped up the leaking TBH would not have caused the increase in temps. Probably not the cap either. And as for the fan clutch, it has no effect on freeway temps.

BTW, there is nothing wrong with those temps. The auxiliary fan doesn't even kick in until 212F.
