I used the ones from Sylvania.
I'm genuinely curious; why do people do this?

I understand LEDs have a longer service life, but I have had my truck 21 years this month and have had only one, maybe two turn signal or other exterior lamps fail. Not exactly onerous.

Because when one bulb goes, the others will likely fail soon, and a bulb failed on the vehicle. While, other bulbs may also last another 20 years, LED bulbs will last essentially forever.

Plus, if you replace one bulb with an LED bulb, the color value of the other bulbs looks odd, as they are a different color and different lumen value. Regular bulb can actually get washed out by other lights when the others are LED.

Having to put on a load equalizer is annoying and expensive, but it's pretty much a one time thing ever. Total cost of each LED Bulb including the load equalizer was about $25, compared to $3 for a bulb replacement, but the higher visibility is worth it to me.

Shock towers the old ones were done - about an hour to get both done and a few other little things cleaned up.

It what seems to be a typical thing for me I have not images but...
Instead of the cross country trip we spent that time in Big Bear and Idlyllwild (CA). Got a chance to hit about 6 trails in Big Bear and 2 in Idyllwild.
Cracked up the bottom (in front of support) bumper yoloing my way out of an poor choice (Idyllwild trail was in bad shape). Truck did great.

Today I installed sway bar disconnects and heading back to Big Bear this weekend. It will be nice to get feedback on any improvment it makes.
As I am nearing a year of ownership I am beginning to plan out what mods I want to perform over the year.

I'll be curious to hear how the trail are in Big Bear, I'm heading up next weekend. With all the rain and snow we had, I'm worried the trails will be trashed.

@Richard Gallant how did you know the old towers were bad? What symptoms?

I have a loud metallic single clunk when i turn in either direction over a small bump like the curb at my driveway. It only happens on the first turn of that direction and then reoccurs the first time i go the other direction over a small bump. I also have a vibration in my steering wheel only when I turn right at idle or under 5mph.

After some research, I suspect a bad/loose shock tower, but not sure... your symptoms would help me diagnose my problem.

@Trailmix The old ones were delaminating, you can see it in the image. Both were starting to split so it was time.

I have a slight vibration at 50 mph in mine but the tie rod ends are gone, so that gets looked at shortly.
