Update on oil level sensor diagnosis. Plus oil leak.

My continental warranty will cover it. But I would have to pay the difference in parts and labor rate. Which is $1500. I said no thank you, let it ride.

So when I changed my tranny fluid, I noticed I had a small oil leak.
continental warranty will not cover the oil leak.

I will post details on oil leak later. But I gave the dealer a bone and let them fix the oil leak. $540 approx.

Note: continental warranty labor rate in$135 per hour. JLR labor rate is $250 per hour.

Good to know and glad it's solved.

I just wish LR would state that the Oil separator is designed to separate oil from the vehicle to the outside world.

Exclamation

So I pick up my D5 Saturday, I got almost home BAM:

DPF full warning.
P2463-00
P2080-64
P0234-77
P049B-00

Dealer/service advisor hasn't returned my call. Maybe they left something unplugged???

My Indy mechanic said this morning to, 1st thing is to check all vacuum lines in the area of the oil separator .

I will when I get off work today.

Saga continues.

@gmfain is there another place to purchase this part? The carparts link seems to be broken.

I bought a few spares just in case. They're cheap.

Back to my saga/adventure.....

I took it out on the highway Saturday. It did a Regen cycle. Cel came back on before I got home.
P2080-64
P2002-00
P049B-00
It seems like the bank 1, Sensor 1 is failing? B1S1

cel is on.

Here is a image of recorded temps.

The 914 temp should be near the 683 range.......... based on past times checking these temps.

When in regen B1S3 and B1S4 will be around 1200 degrees.

(The App is Torque)

Any thoughts?
