Made both, bumper and winch plate. Basically, the winch plate utilizing the same bolt(s) that hold the bumper on. It's tucked up in there nicely...bit lower than a winch/bumper mount...but it was worked okay for me so far. Keeps approach angle tighter, though. Skid plate utilizes the mounting holes for the removed swap bar. Swap bars turned into the front grill guard.

Yes, if I see something laying around...I make it into something...lol.

It's so funny. I've been turning wrenches on old motorcycles for years. I always find that regardless of inspections, I really get to know the vehicle once it's home and I'm in cleaning mode. Today, I found the rear license plate bracket was MIA, and the PO's plate was essentially glued on the door. After careful removal, a bracket was fitted, and all is well.... Replaced the drivers' sun visor clip and checked for any more air in the cooling system after the PO did a HG job just a couple of weeks ago (with fresh heads...)

It has been about 80 miles on it since the HG job, and I'm still getting a faint smell of antifreeze from the engine compartment, but no noticeable loss of coolant or leaks. So today is cooling system pressure test day..... I also was going to order an ultra gauge, but they're on back order until July

Installed Abran's wonderful driver's door lock pin as a precautionary measure, and also serviced the transmission with new filter and fluid.
Since my pump didn't fit the tops of the bottles, I ended up removing the front driveshaft in order to have enough room to fill the transmission again. Great design, Land Rover!
