yea I'm pretty sure you're right, I pulled the covers off and figured out it wasn't seated correctly, but in the process of figuring that out, I dropped one of the rocker arms down the head,....... Yea I know...... Brilliant. It was midnight and I said I was done for the night. My dad always told me when the car pisses you off, go sit Down and drink a beer. Wednesday is my next day off. It's staying there till then.

Not sure a rocker arm could make that trip, sure it isn't somewhere outside the motor? A pushrod is a different matter. Might be able to fish it out with a slim magnet on a wand or taped securely to a piece of sting trimmer plastic line.

Push rod will not fit in a cylinder.
It may be under the valley gasket.

Man, you don't want to take that all apart again, do you?

Get one of those magnet's on a flexible braided rod.

Or have the local foot ball team come over and turn it upside down and shake until it comes out.....
