This one - see attached. Front cover is the cam position sensor, truck will run without it on a default value. No CKP sensor plugged in = no spark.

Buzz, I think robersonb meant he couldn't get the last manifold bolt started, not that he couldn't get the truck started.

Had the Rover towed home on Friday night....CPS went...of course the truck started when the tow truck arrived... didnt want to take a chance so I had it towed.

CPS locally at NAPA - $70 + $120 tow bill = $190 plus a hour in the garage and numb fingers... not too bad

The sensor is easy to get to but the plug is where to fun is...somehow managed to get it un-plugged and re-attached with a long pair of clamps and some luck.

One method is to plug in the connector first and let sensor hang down. Made for service by Klingon cousins of ET with long skinny fingers.

Default manifold bolt

Yes, my issue is getting that last bolt started on the manifold. Probably should have marked each bolt for the hole it came out of. Doesn't appear stripped and threads look good on the bolt. Going to see if my friend has a side drill gun (just to start it) and then finish up with torque wrench. Would love to get it on there and see if my Disco now named the choo choo has gotten rid of that sound and air gust. Want to get that done so I can get it out of the garage and put new 180 thermostat in and rebleed.

Default Fixed rear glass

Fixed the rear glass, new tranny mounts, new engine mounts , and getting prop shaft rebuilt. Lucky it didn't blow up on the way back from the rally or on the trail

i enjoyed a completely uneventful and drama free commute courtesy of new squeak free pulleys and my idle finally fixed once and for all. If it wasn't for my "sticky" wiper switch, i'd almost think i was driving a Toyota !

i'm taking this rig over from my wife as my daily driver.

last few days I repaired the grill with fiberglass. from breaking and falling off to strong and firm.

i took the plastic moulding that runs under the headlamps and the grill and sprayed it with truck bed liner. i also did my wheel fairing things. love it. the whole truck looks tighter and meaner and it looks much more manly. i never liked the colored plastic. uniform black gives it a face imo.

i removed the old bumper and put my D1 stinger on. it's a modified stock brushbar, wings and rust removed. i turned up that lower bar so it points straight out. this shopping cart buster is only until i get my new steel bumper.

Drove to Long Island NY, from NJ for some 19'" range rover wheels, center caps, and lug nuts. Got em for a crazy deal. Realized I have a cooling system problem on my aggravating drive across Manhattan. Now I really need to install that 180f stat...

Checked on my LR3 key order for a possible key mod and hubcentric wheel spacers
And checked on my spare tire cover order........cant wait!
Made a list of all the things I have to do.......
