A good Sunday out above Chilliwack British Columbia, 04 V8 land rover Discovery II coming up on 300000KM/186500 miles. 10 Rovers from a Series II to LR4.
@Harvlr It was a good time the final exit to the main was a nail biter, very steep, very narrow with a nasty little S turn with pretty good drop. You had to go to the left edge as you made the right turn then crank the wheel to full lock left in the length of the hood and keep as left as you could while you dropped over a ledge with as little braking as possible, on wet rock and mud. Got to go to a last min cars and coffee meet at ok 4wd in NJ. Holy cow that was crazy! Some of those Toyotas had to have had like $30k in accessories and tents on them! Saw 2 other land rovers there but too shy to say hi.
Mine is pretty much bone stock compared to the other trucks there haha.
New engine still has occasional misfires in #1 and #8, I got pigtails for the injectors but need to get some time to put those in. Also need to actually diagnose that's where the misfires are!
Steering box still peeing and marking its territory but slow enough that I feel I can figure out misfires first!
But was fun to take it out and pick up my other ****box from my brother that's been using it. They make quite a pair ahahah
How is that China bumper? Fitment? Strenght? I am hesitant to pay $1,500 for an ARB or $1,100 for a Goliath (including shipping and powder coating). I am not a heavy off-roader, just want to replace my cracked OEM bumper, maybe I install a winch later.
I have the rear version, looks like the same mfr. same hardware, construction, etc.
I have had it for several months and all the junctions points, where the lights mount, etc, any seam is starting to get some rust. I think I will pull it down and repaint the whole thing, or see about getting it powder coated. There is a place I took my wheels that did a great job.

I have not been, but there is a place in Flemington up 31 that hosts similar off road cars and coffees. I took my truck there once and it is pretty legit shop, but never made it for cars and coffee.
It’s been a couple weeks now, but I won the raffle truck at the AZLRO rally in AZ. 2002 D2 Took it on trails the next day, not gonna be a pavement princess. The grandson and I took it out driving and shooting yesterday. Saw a Gila Monster while driving.
